"CELEBRATE ACHIEVEMENT: JOURNEY TO SUCCESS”

Attention all Students! This event is only held once a year so be a part of it! By participating, you will explore and develop skills that will bring your potential to life. Through exciting workshops, guest speakers, networking opportunities, and just plain fun, you will deepen your educational experience. Our Keynote Speaker this year is Mr. Byron Pitts, CBS/60 Minutes Correspondent and author of “Step Out On Nothing,” who tells of his journey to success. His story was written to “encourage people who are struggling mightily with something in their lives,” and emerge with the belief that all things are possible. One of the challenges that he faced was the inability to read through most of his childhood and the shame, isolation, and anger that it engendered, and how he overcame it.
