The goal of these workshops is to prepare you to excel in any environment. Whether it is school, work or your personal life, the skills learned will give you an edge anywhere. Students who successfully attend four (4) or more workshops receive a certificate of completion.

Programs in Leadership & Diversity

The Colors of Leadership - Wednesday, September 28, 2:15-4:15 PM, Room TBA
Leadership involves social or economic change. While most of us may not be leaders such as Gandhi, Martin Luther King or Nelson Mandela, in our own way, we have tried to initiate change. Students will explore ways in which they tried to initiate change; either personally, in the family, in school, at work, a place of worship, or in the community.

This workshop will explore ways of changing habits. Mindfulness allows us to understand how we default to old habits automatically. Through self‐observation, we can begin to notice our thoughts and actions affect different choices and results. Simple exercises are offered to understand how we respond to sensory input through our thoughts, emotions and bodies.
